Every business has a background and storyline, so here is ours.
I starting loving Texas BBQ at a very young age. I wanted to learn how to do it and make it a mouthwatering experience. My first few attempts were horrible. No TikTok, You Tube or BBQ classes existed, so you basically had to learn on your own or find a Pitmaster. Of course, being hardheaded I ventured to figure it out. I succeeded and really thought my finished product was great. All my friends and neighbors told me so. Don't they always!
So, in 1989 I decided to enter a Competition with only 8 teams competing and actually finished pretty well. Then it really began. I was definitely hooked on it, but my problem was being consistent enough for competitions was harder than I thought. I had several of the older cooks take me under their wing and teach me a few tricks but, I still wasn't consistent. I couldn't find a seasoning product I really liked that would Wow the judges. So, I started making my own. I started getting 1st place wins and eventually an Overall Grand Champion.
Back then there wasn't a whole lot of products on the market.
Well, one product I developed led to another and so on.
After decades of competing and still competing today, I have won more than my share of titles. World, National, State and local competitions. My products alone have won many individual awards on their own.
I have Brand Ambassadors competing all over the world with my products and winning titles of their own. If they can "Trust in the Dust", so can you.
